Air Berlin is Germany’s second largest airline and is a member of Oneworld. From its hubs in Berlin and Dusseldorf, Air Berlin operates an extensive network of destinations across Europe, North Africa and the Americas. Its largest shareholder is Etihad Airways which it codeshares with extensively. Air Berlin acquired LTU International from which it assumed most of its long haul routes. The airline also owns Niki in Austria and Belair in Switzerland which complements its network coverage.
